William Blythe

Research Assistant (2021-2022)

William Blythe is a DPhil candidate in Oriental Studies under the supervision of Professor Tan. His research focuses on Qian Zhongshu’s (1910-1998) private manuscripts and their connections to Limited Views, an encyclopaedic work of literary criticism compiled during the later years of the Cultural Revolution. William completed a BA in Chinese Studies at Cambridge (2010), and an MA in Sinology at SOAS (2019).
